Pied-à-terre
New York City
A one room pied-à-terre in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
The design brief called for a pared down oasis from the city streets whenever the owner visits.
There is a minimal kitchenette area, a small desk area, and an exposed wooden bathtub. The oak millwork throughout and cove lighting tie all the elements together as one crafted space for many purposes.
