For this pied-à-terre in midtown Manhattan, We explored an apartment that will transform for various living/guest scenarios. Between a custom millwork folding wall and convertible built-in furniture, this apartment can be configured to sleep between 2 and 8 people. The home office alone can fold to sleep 4 guests. 

 

A large folding wall between the living and dining area acts as a TV wall panel when “closed”. When “opened”, a guest room is created with its own en suite bathroom.

This versatile apartment allows the Owner to accommodate a variety of guests and families — all with three sides of elevated views of the city, and one with an especially fabulous view of Central Park.
